There’s some biffo in the middle of the MCG!

Angus Brayshaw steams out of the middle and he’s floored after kicking the ball inside 50 and he’s not moved.

Melbourne players remonstrating with Brayden Maynard, but it looks like an inadvertent clash.

Maynard jumped up to try and smother Brayshaw’s kick and happened to clash with Brayshaw, who was following through after the kick.

“What else can he do?” says Matthew Richardson on Seven’s coverage. “It’s hard to know what he can do there.”

“Maynard plays on the edge, but in my view, there’s nothing in this,” Patrick Dangerfield adds.

“You have a duty of care to yourself, to protect yourself as you come to land.

“Unfortunately in this game there’s contact that occurs. There is nothing in this for me.”

Maynard getting booed by the Demons faithful, but he didn’t appear to do much wrong there. 

Brayshaw is stretchered off the MCG and he’ll definitely play no further part for the remainder of this match.
