Frisco Fighters Re-Sign Offensive Linemen JR Hensley

FRISCO, TEXAS – The Frisco Fighters head coach, Andre Coles, announced the re-signing of Offensive Lineman JR Hensley for the 2024 season.
The Oklahoma native is 6’5, 315 pounds. Hensley spent his college years at Hawaii University and has played for the Frisco Fighters for the past 2 years.
In college, Hensley was redshirted as a freshman at the University of Hawaii and recorded a rushing average of 168.2. As a Junior, he was the recipient of Academic All-MW Honors. He also led Hawaii to being ranked 5th in the Mountain West Conference.
After College, Hensley spent some time on the BC Lions a team in the CFL – Canadian Football League, and now plays for the Frisco Fighters where he has spent the past 2 seasons. In those seasons he has led the Fighters to having the number one spot in offense in 2022 and 2023.
“JR is a proven leader on and off the field,” said Coles “We are fortunate to have his leadership again in 2024!”
