Knighthawks Bring Back Stouros on One-Year Deal

(Rochester, NY) – Rochester Knighthawks General Manager and Vice President of Lacrosse Operations Dan Carey announced today that the team has re-signed transition man Jordan Stouros to a one-year contract for the 2023-24 season, pending league approval.

Stouros, 26, returns for his second campaign with Rochester after playing the 2022-23 season with the Knighthawks. In a career-high 12 games, he scored one goal to go with three assists while adding 37 loose ball recoveries. He also recorded two loose balls and caused two turnovers in one postseason contest.

The Ottawa, Ontario, native recently completed his second season with the Peterborough Lakers of Major Series Lacrosse, notching eight points on one goal and seven assists in 20 games. In 2022, he helped the Lakers (MSL) claim the Mann Cup as he tallied two assists in nine games in 2022.

In 41 career games with the Lakers, has produced 12 points (1+11) in the regular season while also appearing in 12 postseason tilts.

Prior to turning pro, he appeared in 64 games and recorded 11 points (6+5) during a four-year collegiate career at Limestone University. He was named the USILA-Warrior Division II Long Pole Midfielder of the Year and was named a USILA All-American after his junior season in 2019.

The 5-foot-11, 200-pound Stouros was originally a second-round selection (23rd overall) of the Buffalo Bandits in the 2020 NLL Entry Draft.
