Knights Sign Four Following Training Camp

September 6, 2023 – Ontario Hockey League (OHL) – London Knights News Release

The team is proud to announce the signings of OHL Scholarship and Development Agreements
of forward Ryder Boulton, defenceman Henry Brzustewicz, forward Evan Van Gorp, and
defenceman Jared Woolley.

Ryder Boulton, a native of Atlanta, GA came to Knights training camp as a free agent invite and
earned himself a roster spot after many strong showings. Boulton’s game caught the eyes of
many at camp with his speed and gritty play style throughout camp scrimmages. Boulton spent
his 2022-23 season with the Buffalo Jr. Sabres 16U AAA, playing in 64 games while recording 6
goals and 8 assists. Boulton’s father, Eric Boulton, played 14 seasons in the National Hockey
League with the Sabres, Thrashers, Devils, and Islanders. Boulton will wear #11 with the Knights.

Henry Brzustewicz was acquired by the Knights on the evening of September 1st from the
Ottawa 67’s. Brzustewicz was the 67’s first round selection, 22nd overall in the most recent OHL
Priority Selection and is considered one of the top defenceman in the draft class. Brzustewicz
played the 2022-23 season with the North Jersey Avalanche where he combined for 95 points in
84 games from the backend. Brzustewicz will wear #2 with the Knights.

Evan Van Gorp, a native of Watford, ON played his U18 AAA season with the Elgin Middlesex
Canucks and was signed to a scholarship and development agreement after coming to camp as
a free agent. Van Gorp scored the overtime winner for team green in the green and gold game
on September 2nd. Van Gorp recorded 40 points over 35 games in 2022-23. Van Gorp will wear
#14 with the Knights.

Jared Woolley was the Knights 6th overall selection in the 2022 OHL Priority Selection at 105th
overall. Woolley, a native of Port Hope, ON brings large size to the Knights defence corps at 6’3″,
190lbs. Woolley played with the Quinte Red Devils U18 AAA in 2022-23 where he recorded 24
points over 36 games. Woolley will wear #51 with the Knights.

All four players will join the London Knights organization for the upcoming preseason which
kicks off with a home-and-home this weekend against the Sarnia Sting.
