All four athletes competing for OKTAGON MMA titles on Saturday 3rd December have officially made weight and are ready to give their all inside the cage. OKTAGON 37 emanates from Ostrava, Czech Republic and features a host of different stars in the territory who rarely hear the final horn.
In the main event, the longest reigning champion in the promotion, David Kozma (30-11), looks to defend his welterweight belt for the sixth time against his most dangerous challenger to date, Kaik Brito (15-4). Two of the best, young prospects in Europe collide in the co-headliner for the vacant OKTAGON MMA featherweight title when Georgian, Mate Sanikidze (8-2), takes on the undefeated, Jakub Tichota (5-0).
Heavy-hitter, Vlasto Čepo (10-2), faces Bellator veteran, Gianni Melillo (14-7), in an exciting middleweight contest and fan-favourite, Jan Široký (12-13, 1NC), meets promotional newcomer, Konrad Dyrschka (14-2, 1NC), at a catchweight of 72kg.
Elsewhere on the card, WMC Muay Thai champion and 2019 WAKO gold medalist, Monika Chochlíková (3-0), intends on displaying her elite level striking against her toughest test in MMA to date, Katharina Dalisda (7-3). Tadej Dajčman (5-2) squares off with Adam Pałasz (7-1) in a fight that could have major implications on the vacant heavyweight title picture.
In a last minute change to the lineup, Radovan Úškrt has withdrawn from the event and former soldier, Marek Mazuch (6-1), replaces him to take on Al Matavao (9-5) at a catchweight of 95kg. Petr Bartoněk (2-4) has also stepped in on extremely late notice to challenge Václav Mikulášek (7-10) in a light heavyweight bout.
