Sidekicks Amicably Part Ways with Head Coach Ricardinho

May 19, 2023 – Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) – Dallas Sidekicks News Release

Allen, Texas – The Dallas Sidekicks announced today that the team has amicably parted ways with Head Coach Ricardinho Cavalcante due to pursuing other opportunities with the FC Dallas Youth Academy and his business RC10.

Cavalcante became interim head coach on December 30th, 2021, and officially became head coach on February 10, 2022, after leading the team to its first wins of the season.

In the 2021-2022 season, Cavalcante received MASL Coach of the Year and guided the team to the MASL playoffs for the first time since the 2014-2015 season.

Dallas Sidekicks President Jesse Llamas:

“We’re grateful for Coach Ricardinho these past few seasons. We wish him luck on his future endeavors and the door will always be open for him if he decides to return one day.”
