United Cup coming to Brisbane this summer

A star-studded field has been named for the inaugural United Cup, an annual mixed team event set to be played in Brisbane, Perth and Sydney from Thursday 29 December to Sunday 8 January 2023.

The United Cup is a world-first 18-country teams’ tennis event which will see men and women compete side by side for their country, with US$15million in prizemoney and significant ranking points on the line.

Brisbane will play host to six nations, headlined by women’s World.No 1 Iga Swiatek and Team Poland, World No.3 Caspeer Ruud and Team Norway, as well as big hitting Italian Matteo Berrettini. Other countries to compete in Queensland include Switzerland, with 3 time Grand Slam Champion Stan Wawrinka, and world No.12 Belinda Bencic. Brazil and Kazakhstan. A full schedule can be found here.
